TEDxTohoku 2014 Event

TEDxTohoku 2014 has come to a close.
We express our heartfelt gratitude towards everyone who has took part in this event in any way.

Together, to an Undiscovered Future.

We are happy to announce that TEDxTohoku will be hosted again this year.

TEDxTohoku aims to “create the people for the Tohoku of tomorrow”. By hosting our event and broadcasting it live online, we deliver the “Ideas Worth Spreading” from Tohoku to the world. What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTohoku, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTohoku event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
